Stats tester mini is an easy statistics calculator for iPhone. By using Stats tester mini, you can perform statistics tests and obtain graphs by an easy operation. This can also be used on iPad (iPhone mode) and Mac with an M1/ M2 chip.

Main features of Stats tester mini.

1. [Example] button shows the format for entering the data.
2. [Help] button for each test provides a supplementary explanation of the test results.
3. For tests with the [Graph] button, a result graph will be displayed.
4. Built-in numeric keyboard (numeric keypad) makes input easy.
5. Since a group of data is entered into the one input window, it is easy to enter, add, delete, or modify.
6. When non-numeric strings are entered, the location of the error will be pointed out.
7. You can perform a statistical test by copying / pasting the Numbers/Excel data saved on your iPhone, iPad or Mac (with an M1,M2 chip).
8. The test result is displayed on the output window. You can save it by copying the result with the [Share] button and pasting it into the Numbers app.

Updated ver 3.4 (Jan. 29, 2024)

1. Adjusted the display of the initial and help/option screens for each model.

2. Changed the comment that displays error information after an input error.

1. Numeric keypad: In addition to the telephone layout 10-keypad, the calculator layout 10-keypad is now selectable.

2. Two-sample t-test: Added help how to choose between Student's t-test and Welch's test.

3. Chi -square test: Changed to display the continuous corrected p-value preferentially.

4. Added the explanation of 'significance level (α)' to Usage and Glossary.

1. A built-In numeric keypad: Fixed an isshe with the first tap of a delelte key.

2. Chi-square test: Changed the output format to support frequencies up to 100000.

3. One-sample t-test: Fixed an issue that copying/pasting Numbers and Excel data was not possible.

4. ANOVA and Shapiro tesst: Removed words '(two tails)' following the p-value in those test displays.

1. Bug fix [One-sample t-test]: The comparison value was always displayed as 8.0. It did not affect the results.

2. New statistics test: Added [Chi- square test].

3. Added glossary: Added a glossary button to explain basic statistical terms.

4. Excel data can also be copied/pasted.

5. The app built-in 10 keyboard is now available on the M1 Mac. You can switch between the app built-in keyboard and your Mac keyboard.

6. Other improvements:

1) Changed the fonts of input-, output- and help displays to monospaced.

2) Superscript and subscript characters were used wherever possible.

3) Many other improvements have been made.

Updated ver 2.3.1 (May. 2, 2022)

1. Bug fixed: Fixed an issue that caused a crash when tapping the graph screen multiple times with 3 fingers. As a result, the graph can no longer be enlarged.

2. A disclaimer has been added to the Privacy Policy.

Updated ver 2.3 (Feb. 28, 2022)

1. Bug fix: After tapping the [Calc] button for the second time, manual scrolling was needed to see the result from the beginning (ver 2.0 to 2.2), but it was fixed to be displayed automatically (ver 2.3).

2. Function added: A straight line was drawn on the Q-Q plot. It is an index of the normal distribution. See [Help].

3. Added the explanation of unique abbreviations "SD(n) and SD(n-1)" in this app to Help of [Mean, SD, SEM ..].

4. Added explanation of the relationship between F-test and t-test to the help of [t-test (2 independent samples)].

5. Renamed some tests and unified the terms in the Help files for all tests.

1. This app can now be run on the Mac with an M1 chip. You can download this app from the Mac App Store.

Updated ver 2.1 (Jan. 7, 2022)

1. Fixed an issue with external data copy/paste.

2. The build-in numeric keyboard was implemented. It is possible to switch to the system keyboard.

3. Null hypothesis and alternative hypothesis are described in all tests.

4. Added standard deviation to the result of [Paired sample t-test].

5. Improved the notification (data number or line number) of incorrect input (characters other than numbers, and excess or deficiency of entered data).

6. Changed the dark mode color scheme.

7. Made some minor modifications that do not affect the test results.

2. The dark mode color scheme of the graphs has been unified among the tests.

3. Bug fix in Help of [Mean and SD, etc]: Fixed a mistake in the description of skewness (G1) when the iPhone is set to a language other than Japanese.

4. The configuration of the program source has been completely reviewed and the download size has been reduced to about 1/5.

Bug fix: In the previous version, [Shapiro-wilk test] crashed when inputting 100 data. This was fixed.

Updated ver 1.8 (Sep. 7, 2020)

1. New statistics test added [Paired sample t-test].

2. Improvement (Linking with other apps has become easier.) In the previous version, after tapping the [Calc] button, data was saved in iPhone only when the calc result could be output. From this new version, the input data is saved in iphone without pressing the [Calc] button. Because of this feature, you can easily enter up to 100 data/group to [Two-sample t-test] from the Numbers app by 2 copy/paste operations. (See How to use section)

3. Bug fix a) [Two sample t-test], [one-sample t-test], and [correlation and regression]:Fixed the case where the calculation cannot be done with specific data (eg, the same value). b) Other minor corrections to the display.

Updated ver 1.7 (Jan. 26, 2020)

1. New test: [6. Shapiro-Wilk test (Normality)] and Normal probability plot graph.

2. Improvement:

a) [Mean and SD, etc]: Calculation of Kurtosis (a4) was added. If a4 = 3, it means normal distribution.

b) [t-test (Student and Welch]: Welch's p-value was changed to the direct calculation from the interpolation method.

Updated ver 1.6 (Sep. 23, 2019)

1. Added support for Dark Mode on iOs 13.

2. Added support for iPhone 11 screen size.

3. Minor fixes for "Usage Help". There is no modification in the "HELP" on each test screen.
