Stats tester plus for iPhone

Stats tester plus is an easy statistics calculator for iPhone. By using Stats tester plus, you can perform many statistics tests and obtain graphs by an easy operation. It can also be used on Mac (with the M1 chip). Stats Tester plus can be installed from the App Store.

You can check the usability of this app by trying Stats tester mini（free version）.

Main features of Stats tester plus.

1. [Example] button shows the format for entering the data.
2. [Help] button for each test provides a supplementary explanation of the test results.
3. For tests with the [Graph] button, a result graph will be displayed.
4. Built-in numeric keyboard (numeric keypad) makes input easy.
5. Since a group of data is entered into the one input window, it is easy to enter, add, delete, or modify.
6. When non-numeric strings are entered, the location of the error will be pointed out.
7. You can perform a statistical test by copying / pasting the Numbers app data saved on your iPhone, iPad or Mac (with an M1 chip).
8. The test result is displayed on the output window. You can save it by copying the result with the [Share] button and pasting it into the Numbers app.

WHAT's NEW

ver 3.1 (Feb. 6, 2024)

1. Test for Pearson Correlation Coefficient : Fixed freezing in very rare samples (when r=0).

2. Glossary：Added explanations of 1)Correlation, 2)Correlation coefficient, 3)Regression coefficient, 4)Coefficient of determination, and 5)Test of Pearson correlation coefficient.

3. Two-sample proportion test : Fixed a case where the result of one-sided test was not displayed.

Major changes

1. Help for all statistics tests: Added easy-to-understand explanations, including examples. (Major improvement in this version)

3. Improved display: Improved screen display on iPhone 8 plus, iPhone SE, Mac (designed for iPhone), etc.

4. Spearman correlation coefficient test: Changed to a table lookup method.

ver 2.0 (Apr 1, 2023)

1. As a major update, one-tailed tests were enabled in many tests. If you turn on the "One-tailed test" option switch, the one-tailed p-value will be displayed after the two-tailed p-value.

2. For tests with continuity correction, you can use the option switch to switch between "displaying only corrected p-values" and "displaying corrected p-values + uncorrected p-values".

3. In the Wilcoxon signed-rank test, an approximation method was added in addition to table lookup in the previous version. In the new version, the table lookup method has been reinstated. However, not only has the original table (α = 0.01 and 0.05) been included, but also a table (α = 0.001 and 0.005) has been added.

4. [How to use this app], [Glossary] and [Help] for each test have been revised.

ver 1.1 (Feb 14, 2023)

1. Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test (Paired Sample): Added the normal approximation method (with tie data correction) in addition to the table lookup method.

2. Chi-Square Test (mxn, Independence): Improved the output format to make it easier to see test results in the large table (max 10x10).

3. Multiple t-Test with Bonferroni Correction: An introduction to the Bonferroni correction method has been added to the Help screen.

4. Improved glossary and others.
